A new and complex material of simple and primary elements, an ancestral and the spontaneous environment created from inorganic and organic substances, a prolonged contact, a fertile exchange, a necessary condition for the birth and creation of something new, primordial elements able to nurture us in a cerebral frenzy, a binding liquid, an archaic pleasure, a sublime dance, a silent society of autonomous elements unintentionally well thought out.
ABOUT
Uncoated-content is a forest of voices, an attempt at dialogue and contact that embraces the possibility of failure, an experiment in connection that tries to move beyond the limits of the digital world and rationale of sales, markets and production.
It is a collective project that spreads beneath the surface for miles, like mycelia.
Artists are invited to interact via their preferred channels, in a free and unmoderated exchange, offering reflections and thoughts on the practice of making art, on that which is the substance of their reality. We have decided not to place the work at the centre of our model of discourse, not because the work is not central in the artist’s path but because we believe it is more important to give space to the community, to dialogue and the exchange of creative ideas.
We aim to build relationships between artists and provide the opportunity for free expression, creating dialogues which are fruitful but may also fail or prove incomplete, introducing the figure of the author to the muddy waters of interconnection.
Despite the transitory nature of the platform, the Internet, the initiative attempts to create delicate and lasting interpersonal relations, where it is not coaction in production at the centre, but the symbolic action of creating a community.
The virtual space is created by artists and designed in the same way for them and the public, who can approach this world directly, to learn and observe.
Uncoated-content is a platform for dialogue and exchange, a virtual space to establish relationships that we hope can migrate to real places and projects capable of generating meaning. Connections are created without physical presence, contacts without contact, in the hope that these relationships may subvert the rationale of production.
A PROJECT BY
Mucho Mas!
Artist-run space in Turin, founded by Luca Vianello and Silvia Mangosio. Mucho Mas! exhibits emerging Italian and international artists, who undertake research into the role of the contemporary image. The aim of the gallery, together with artists and gallery founders is to exhibit a broad, transversal and critical view on how photography and its profound significance is changing today and how it has lost some of its original connotations, yet contextually it has acquired others that are much more pervasive.
Villa Romana
Based in Florence, is a place of contemporary artistic production and international exchange.
Since 1905, the Villa Romana Fellows, who are awarded annually, have been living and working here. During their stay they network with international guest artists and the regional and Italian art scene. Over the course of decades, the Villa Romana has thus become a unique, dynamic and committed interface for artistic production and discussion between Germany, Italy and the entire Mediterranean region.
Like hardly any other foreign cultural institute, Villa Romana collaborates with Italian and international partners and practices from Italy a transcontinental dialogue between Europe and Africa. Competencies, cultural differences and personal biographies are networked in cooperation with the regional environment (museums, art academies, universities and partners in other disciplines).
The Villa Romana is a hospitable, interdisciplinary and communicative house, which is frequented annually by many international artists, curators, critics and visitors. It was founded 115 years ago by artists and patrons of the arts to provide a platform for independent exchange. To this day, it is run by a non-profit German association, which numerous artists actively support through cooperation and membership.

In 2020 he worked with Studio Umo, operating in the world of product design and visual communication, passing through physical spaces and digital worlds.
In the same year he designed and coded an online archive with the art collective "Guerrilla Spam", celebrating their ten-year anniversary. The collaboration between the two still goes on.
